Disposable Vape Puff Counts, Flavours and Strengths Explained
If you're wondering how many puffs a disposable vape will give you, the answer is usually printed on the listing. Puff counts are a handy way to compare devices, but they're not an exact science. Here's what you need to know when shopping for a disposable vape online in Australia.
What a puff count tells you
Most listings state a puff count, from 1,000 to 80,000 puffs, with 6,000, 9,000, 10,000 and 15,000 being common. The puff count is the maker's estimate of how many puffs you can get from the device. However, your actual number may vary: if you take longer or more frequent puffs, you'll use the device up sooner. So, treat the puff count as a rough guide rather than a promise.
Flavour families
Our range includes a variety of flavour families, such as Strawberry Watermelon, Strawberry Ice, Watermelon Ice, Blue Razz Gummy Bear, Blueberry On Ice, Blueberry Raspberry, Strawberry Kiwi, Blue Razz Lemonade, Mixed Berry and Cherry. Flavours marked as Ice or Menthol add a cooling sensation on top of the main flavour, giving a refreshing twist. Whether you prefer fruity blends or something with a chill, there's likely a flavour to suit your taste.
Nicotine strengths on a listing
Where a listing states nicotine strength, it's usually shown as a percentage. Common strengths are 3%, 3.5% and 5%. To put that in perspective, 5% nicotine is 50 mg/mL, 3% is 30 mg/mL, and 2% is 20 mg/mL. A higher percentage means more nicotine in each puff.
Brands, multi-packs and pod devices
Some devices are also sold in multi-packs, with quantities like 3, 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 100 and 200. A multi-pack listing sells several devices in one order, which can be convenient if you want to stock up. Additionally, a few listings are for pod devices, where a battery is used with separate pre-filled pods. Such a listing may be the battery, the pods, or a kit, so it's important to check which one you're buying before you add it to your cart.
